Short BIO
Matt Prochaska, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Kendall County, Illinois, has served in all three branches of county government: Judicial, Executive, and Legislative. A longtime NACo leader, he has served as Chair of the Membership Committee, Chair of the Roads and Road Safety Subcommittee, Vice-Chair of Programs and Services, Vice-Chair of Courts and Corrections Subcommittee, on the Credentials Committee, and as NACo Parliamentarian. In Illinois, he serves as President of the Illinois State Association of Counties and on the UCCI Board. Widely known as a bridge-builder between urban and rural counties, Matt brings experience, balance, and collaboration to NACo’s national leadership.
